Fathom reduces Dominican Republic starting fare to $499

Fathom cut the fares for its week-long social impact cruises to the Dominican Republic. Prices start at $499 for departures through Nov. 16.

In addition, third and fourth passengers in a stateroom get 50% off the double occupancy price.

The $499 rate applies to an inside cabin. Fares for the first two people in an outside room start at $599, and at $699 for a room with balcony, while a suite starts at $2,499.

Taxes, fees and port expenses are currently an extra $208 per person.

The Dominican Republic fares include three on-shore social impact activities and related supplies.

Meanwhile, Fathom's Cuba cruises are currently priced starting at $1,899 per person, excluding Cuban visas, taxes, fees and port expenses. Certain on-the-ground cultural immersion activities are included.
