Five more bodies are found beside Costa Concordia hull

The five bodies discovered outside the wreck of Costa Concordia on Thursday bring the confirmed death toll to 30. Two people remain missing.

Civil protection authorities said the bodies were found outside the ship, between the hull and the rocks, according to the Associated Press and other wire services.

Their recovery is expected to take several days.
