Further delay sets Ritz-Carlton's Evrima inaugural back to October

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection rescheduled Evrima's inaugural voyage to Oct. 15 instead of Aug. 31.

Evrima's Oct. 15 sailing will be from Barcelona.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection said it is reaching out to impacted guests and their travel agents.

Follows June protests in Spain

The ship had been set back previously due to 'highly disruptive protests' by metalworkers in Spain's Cantabria region, where Evrima’s finishing touches are being completed at Astander Shipyard in Santander. That June disturbance did not involve the company's subcontractors or Astander but made it difficult for workers to safely access the facilities, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection said at the time.
