Further NCL cancellations — for six additional ships, not all in service yet

Norwegian Cruise Line canceled cruises for six more ships — some that have not yet resumed service and some into February, March and April.

The impacted ships are Norwegian Sky, Pride of America, Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Spirit.

In addition to Norwegian Getaway and Pearl

This is in addition to Norwegian Getaway's Jan. 5 cruise and Norwegian Pearl's current sailing, as reported here yesterday. Also, NCL said Norwegian Pearl's Jan. 14 voyage will not operate.

The cancellations include all of Miami-based Norwegian Sky's cruises with embarkation dates through and including Feb. 25 (the ship had been planned to restart mid-February) and all Pride of America cruises with embarkation dates through and including Feb. 26 (the ship had been expected to resume Hawaii service late this month).

Also canceled: all Norwegian Jade cruises with embarkation dates through and including March 3 (the ship had already canceled cruises touching South Africa through Jan. 26) and all Norwegian Star cruises with embarkation dates through and including March 19 (the ship had been expected to resume service from Buenos Aires this month).

Further cancellations are Norwegian Sun cruises with embarkation dates through and including April 19 (the ship has been expected to restart in Singapore in February), and all of Sydney-based Norwegian Spirit's cruises with embarkation dates through and including April 23.

Full refund and bonus future cruise certificate

All passengers booked on these sailings will receive an automatic full refund as well as a bonus future cruise certificate.
