Queen Mary 2's visit is 'an honor for the region,' said Stéphane Sainte-Croix, director of Escale Gaspésie. 'It is also a major vote of confidence from the industry for our organization and for the port of call. We will make sure we meet their needs and expectations in order to make this stop-over a successful one.'

Along with its inaugural visit to Gaspé on Oct. 7 next year, Queen Mary 2 will call at Saguenay and Québec City.
