Guadeloupe awaits first calls of Costa Favolosa, MSC Orchestra

Costa Favolosa and MSC Orchestra are scheduled to arrive at Pointe-à-Pitre for the first time this weekend, marking the beginning of their seasonal cruises from Guadeloupe.

The 114,500gt Costa Favolosa sails in on Saturday, while the 92,400gt MSC Orchestra is due on Sunday.

Both ships will be offering weekly departures from Pointe-à-Pitre for the season.

On Saturdays and Sundays multilingual representatives of the Guadeloupe Islands Tourism Board will be present at the port to welcome their passengers.

The 2015/16 season is the 21st that Costa Cruises has embarked travelers in Guadeloupe. MSC Cruises began doing so in the 2012/13 season.
