Bookings opened for Holland America Line’s September 2026-April 2027 Australia, New Zealand and Asia programme to be operated by Westerdam and Noordam.

Ranging from 13 to 35 days, the cruises feature longer port stays and call at some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.

'Legendary Australia Circumnavigation'

A highlight is the 35-day 'Legendary Australia Circumnavigation' from Sydney on November 15, 2026 that has overnights in Fremantle and Hobart, as well as late nights in Adelaide, Phillip Island and Melbourne.

The 1,972-passenger Noordam will also call at four ports in Papua New Guinea.

At the beginning and end of the 2026-27 season, there are two 'Legendary South Pacific Crossings.'

On October 11, 2026 Noordam will make a 33-night voyage from Seattle to Sydney, visiting the Hawaiian Islands; French Polynesia, including an overnight in Tahiti; and New Zealand.

On March 25, 2027, she makes a 28-night repositioning voyage from Sydney to Seattle.

There is also a range of 14-day open-jaw sailings between Auckland and Sydney, each calling at eight ports as well as Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park between January and March 2027.

Westerdam explores Asia

HAL's 2026-27 Asia season to be operated by Westerdam gets under way earlier than usual, with more than half of the itineraries departing from Tokyo.

There are 13- and 14-day 'Circle Japan' cruises and a 14-day 'Japan and South Korea Discovery' voyage.

There are also 14-day open-jaw 'Far East Discovery' cruises between Hong Kong and Singapore and a 14-day 'The Philippines, Tawain and Japan' cruise ex-Hong Kong.

A highlight is the return of the 28-day 'Legendary Coral Triangle and Great Barrier Reef' round voyage from Singapore on January 3, 2027.

Early bookings

There are inclusions for early bookings with the standard Have It All package and an early bonus for Mariner Society members.

Deepest Australia exploration

‘The 35-day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation is one of our deepest explorations of Australia,’ Paul Grigsby,VP of revenue planning and analytics, said.

‘Guests have the chance to see all the country has to offer, including its iconic wildlife such as kangaroos and koalas,’ he said.

‘And for those who are looking to sample the region on a shorter sailing, our popular Australia and New Zealand cruises provide a great opportunity.’
