HAL's Eurodam extends Med season, assumes Westerdam itineraries
Following four Greece cruises in August, Holland America Line’s Eurodam will assume the previously scheduled Westerdam sailings that span the Mediterranean.

From Sept. 12 through its Oct. 30 trans-Atlantic departure, Eurodam will offer five 12-day cruises round-trip Venice, between Venice and Piraeus, Venice and Barcelona and from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Med cruises for fully vaccinated travelers
The Mediterranean sailings will be open to travelers fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Passengers booked on Westerdam will be rebooked automatically on the same departure date aboard Eurodam in a comparable stateroom. As a Signature-class vessel, the 2,104-passenger Eurodam has a slightly larger capacity than the 1,964-passenger Westerdam and will be able to accommodate everyone booked on Westerdam.
As earlier announced, Eurodam is to begin cruising from Piraeus Aug. 15.
Eurodam's November-March in the Caribbean
Immediately following the trans-Atlantic crossing, Eurodam is expected to begin its scheduled Caribbean season of cruises round-trip Port Everglades. From November 2021 through March 2022, passengers can embark on seven-, 10- and 11-day cruises, some including a partial Panama Canal transit.
HAL previously canceled eight Europe cruises in July and August aboard Nieuw Statendam and Volendam, as well as two Caribbean cruises in October and November on Eurodam. The Caribbean cancellations were made to accommodate the Mediterranean voyages Eurodam will now operate.
