The unannounced inspection by Vessel Sanitation Program inspectors from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention took place in Juneau on June 15.

Statendam was on a 14-day round-trip Alaska cruise from Seattle.

The prior two inspections were at Hilo, Hawaii, in February and at Ketchikan in June 2014.

Recently, HAL's Eurodam achieved its eighth consecutive 100 score and, in the past year Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Ryndam, Zuiderdam and Westerdam also earned perfect marks.
