Haugesund expecting six maiden calls this season

Norwegian port of Haugesund is gearing up for for the arrival of the its first cruise ship of the season, with Hurtigruten’s Fram scheduled to call on April 28 and again on May 8.

In total, a record 18 cruise ships will visit Haugesund in a season running through to September 1. This year's final call is one of seven by Costa neoRomantica.
 
Maiden callers also include P&O Cruises’ Adonia, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Boudicca  (although the line has sent Balmoral and Black Watch previously), Phoenix Reisen’s Amadea, TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 4 and Plantours’ Hamburg.
 
Total number of passengers expected this year is 21,000.
