Marina Bay Cruise Centre upgrade nears completion

Marina Bay Cruise Center, located at the southern tip of central Singapore, is undergoing a multi-million dollar upgrade less than two year’s since the two dedicated cruise berth facility opened.

A number of areas are being improved including a new sky bridge to Berth 1 to match the two existing sky bridges on berth 2, improvements to the luggage handling system allowing swifter passenger service on check-in, additional metal detectors in the arrival hall to enable passengers faster exit, streamlined routes through the terminal to improve traffic flow and a new taxi boarding platform.

Work has been ongoing for a number of months with completion scheduled for October 1, 2014.
