Marnie Tihany is madrina for Seabourn Encore coin ceremony

Two commemorative gold coins were welded into Seabourn Encore's mast at a coin ceremony at Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard. Serving as madrina for the occasion was Marnie Tihany, director of business development for Tihany Design and the wife of Adam D. Tihany, who is creating the ship's interiors.

'With less than a year until the launch of Seabourn Encore, we look forward to more exciting milestones in the coming months,' Seabourn president Rick Meadows said.

Adam Tihany and Holland America Group ceo Stein Kruse were among the other officials present for the coin ceremony.

The 40,350gt Seabourn Encore is scheduled for delivery in December.
