Some lengthier itineraries with more ports and longer stays highlight Norwegian Cruise Line's winter 2024/25 and summer 2025 schedule in Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska.

Here are some examples:

Greek Isles, Israel, Egypt

Norwegian Viva, set to debut in August 2023, will offer select weeklong Greek Isles voyages round-trip Piraeus and nine- to 11-day open jaw sailings between Haifa (Israel), Piraeus and Istanbul from May through November 2025. The voyages visit Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes and Iraklion (Crete) and the longer itineraries include 15-hour port stays in Ashdod (for Jerusalem) and call Alexandria and Port Said, allowing time to visit the pyramids.

Southampton-Reykjavik

From May through September 2025, Norwegian Prima will sail a series of 10- and 11-day voyages between Southampton and Reykjavik, with calls including Geiranger, Norway. Various itineraries feature Ålesund, Flåm and Bergen, Norway; Zeebrugge (for Brussels/Bruges), Belgium; Akureyri and Isafjordur, Iceland, and Amsterdam.

Breakaway from Barcelona

April 2025 through October 2025, Norwegian Breakaway will offer a series of nine- and 10-day round-trips from Barcelona, with an overnight call at Livorno (for Florence/Pisa), giving a full two days to explore the area. Other destinations include as Ibiza, Spain; Cagliari, Naples and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; and Cannes, France, among others.

Caribbean from NY, San Juan, Galveston

Sailing round-trip from New York City, Norwegian Prima will offer 10- to 12-day Caribbean sailings November 2024 through March 2025 visiting Puerto Plata, San Juan, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, Tortola and Bermuda.

For the second year, Norwegian Viva will homeport in San Juan, from December 2024 through April 2025 offering seven-day round-trip Southern Caribbean sailings with a port call each day. Destinations in the east include St. Lucia and Barbados and in the east, Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, among others.

From Galveston, Norwegian Escape will sail seven- and 14-day cruises December 2024 through March 2025. Weeklong Western Caribbean itineraries include Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatán and NCL's Harvest Caye in Belize. The longer voyages will visit St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Great Stirrup Cay and other destinations.

Longer Alaska option

From late April through October 2025, Norwegian Joy will return to Alaska with nine- and 10-day round-trips from Seattle. The ship will offer scenic cruising of Glacier Bay National Park and Hubbard Glacier. Select cruises will also call at Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan.

21-day Panama Canal 'Extraordinary Journey'

Norwegian Encore will traverse the Panama Canal during a 21-day 'Extraordinary Journey' embarking Oct. 13, 2024, in Seattle and sailing to Miami. Calls include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala), Panama City, Cartagena and Grand Cayman.
