Goldfarb is responsible for overall communications strategy and media outreach for the MSC Cruises brand in North America.

'With nearly a decade of public relations and marketing experience, [Goldfarb's] expertise brings additional firepower to our communications efforts and is an ideal complement to our executive team,' Muskat said.

Prior to joining MSC Cruises, Goldfarb's work at Ogilvy included managing public relations campaigns for clients such as Susan G. Komen and LG Electronics. Before that, she was with Environics Communications, a full-service PR agency, serving as the day-to-day contact for association, health care and technology clients.

Goldfarb began her career as a communications specialist at ICF International, a management and technology consulting firm, where she provided marketing communications support to various government agencies including the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Federal Highway Administration.

Goldfarb said MSC Cruises has 'established itself as a market leader in the global cruise industry and I’m thrilled to be joining ... as it continues to expand its presence in North America.'
