MSC Grandiosa returns to Mediterranean sailings

MSC Cruises’ Grandiosa departed from Italy’s Port of Genoa on January 24 to resume its seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean.

The restart follows a brief pause over the festive period when the Italian government imposed a travel ban within the country.

Health protocol 

According to the cruise line, national authorities in Italy, Greece and Malta are using MSC Cruises’ health protocol to inform plans for restarting cruises in other parts of the world. 

MSC Grandiosa has transported 30,000 passengers since last August; MSC Magnifica is set to resume sailing from mid-February.
