MSC to resume Mediterranean cruises Jan. 24

Starting Jan. 24, MSC Grandiosa will resume its weekly sailings from Genoa
With Italy extending restrictions on embarkation ports until Jan. 15, MSC Cruises canceled additional sailings and now plans to resume Mediterranean service Jan. 24.

Cancellations include MSC Grandiosa's Jan. 10 cruise from Genoa and, just to be safe, its Jan. 17 departure as well. So the ship's first cruise following Italy's holiday travel restrictions is now set for Jan. 24.

From then, MSC Grandiosa is planned to sail Sundays from Genoa to Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples, Palermo and Valetta in Malta, with embarkation available at each port in Italy. These cruises will run until March 21, when MSC Grandiosa will embark on a new Western Mediterranean itinerary for the summer.

MSC Magnifica still set for Feb. 14

MSC Magnifica is still expected to resume its 11-night cruises from Genoa on Feb. 14. Those visit destinations in Italy, Greece and Malta.
