Nanhai Dream will sail short cruises from Sanya to the Xisha Islands
Sanya's Nanhai Cruises is to launch service to the South China Sea's Xisha Islands on Dec. 9.

After 319 days' suspension of operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nanhai Cruises is to deploy Nanhai Dream on a route to the Xisha Islands.

Destination: Quangfu island

The three-night journey will depart from Sanya and sail to Quangfu island.

Initially, as service resumes, the ship will carry fewer than 50% of its passenger capacity, a number that will be expanded depending on the pandemic control and operating status.

Nanhai Cruises was established in 2016 by three state-owned enterprises of China Tourism, COSCO Shipping and China Communication Construction to develop cruising in the islands of the South China Sea at the initial stage.
