NCL Air, a fly-cruise bookings platform available in the UK and mainland Europe, has been rolled out by Norwegian Cruise Line.

It offers real-time access and current pricing to flights from across the UK and Ireland to departure ports around the world; travel agents receive a minimum 10% commission on the flight package when making a booking via the platform.

Eamonn Ferrin, VP and managing director, NCL UK&I and MEA said work on the platform has been underway ‘for some time,’ adding, ‘NCL Air is the natural evolution of our commitment to offer customers more freedom and choice, all while providing travel partners with the utmost support.’

Sally-Anne Beasley, VP guest services Europe, NCL said NCL Air has been ‘developed through the lens of our travel partners.’

Features

Agents with an NCL SEAWEB log-in will be able to use NCL Air to offer flight options from a variety of regional gateways and can opt for exclusive NCL-contracted fares, which give guests more flexibility, or restricted fares at more attractive pricing that are subject to payment and cancellation restrictions. It also allows for easier upgrades to premium economy, business and first class.

Fares include checked baggage, airport and port round-trip transfers, as well as a pre-cruise hotel night, if required. NCL will also provide assistance in the event of flight cancellations or delays by taking care of alternative arrangements for flights arranged as part of a package deal.

All cabin classes and airlines bookable through Amadeus, including BA, Jet2, Virgin Atlantic, easyJet and KLM are possible and all bookings are fully protected via ATOL protection or ABTA bonding.

To celebrate the launch, NCL is giving agents the chance to win a fly-cruise for two on board Norwegian Epic or Norwegian Dawn.
