Norwegian Cruise Line is keeping to an established pattern with its 2017 sailings to the Bahamas and Florida from New York, and to Bermuda and Canada/New England from New York and Boston. Miami-based Bahamas jaunts on Norwegian Sky continue, too.

The recently refurbished Norwegian Gem will sail seven-day Bahamas and Florida cruises from New York from late April to late August. The itinerary includes Port Canaveral, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.

Norwegian Sky will continue operating three- and four-day Bahamas cruises year-round from Miami, departing Fridays and Mondays. Destinations are Nassau, Freeport and Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian also keeps its tradition of sailing from both New York and Boston to Bermuda. Cruises operate between April and October. Norwegian Breakaway will sail from New York every Sunday, April 23 through Sept. 24. From Boston, Norwegian Dawn will depart every Friday, May 5 through Sept. 15 and on Oct. 20 and 27.

Norwegian Gem will again offer two summer Canada/New England round-trips from New York. These seven-day sailings on June 10 and June 24 call at Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine.

During prime foliage season, Norwegian Gem sail alternating seven-day round-trips from New York, Sept. 2 to Oct. 14, that visit four ports, with calls at Halifax, Saint John, Portland and Bar Harbor or Boston.

From Boston, Norwegian Dawn will offer two seven-day cruises to Québec City, Sept. 22 and Oct. 6, with stops at Portland, Halifax, Prince Edward Island's Charlottetown and Québec's Gaspésie and Saguenay (La Baie). The return seven-day cruises from Québec City to Boston, Sept. 29 and Oct. 13, begin with an overnight in Québec City, followed by calls at Sydney, Halifax, Saint John and Bar Harbor.

These itineraries, along with Norwegian's 2017 Alaska program, go on sale Dec. 22 for Latitudes Rewards (loyalty club) members and travel partners and on Dec. 23 for the general public.

The line's summer 2017 Caribbean and European itineraries will be unveiled in early 2016.
