Renamed Goddess of the Night, the 3,470-passenger ship is headed to short music festival and party cruises in the Aegean for adults only. The inaugural voyage is scheduled for July 15.

Neonyx Cruises is promoted as 'ideal for couples, solo travelers and group of friends ... the perfect setting to enjoy nonstop electronic music, captivating shows and a vibrant vacation in the Mediterranean.'

Mykonos, Santorini, Çeşme

There are two itineraries. The three-day 'Thrill Extravaganza' departs Piraeus on Fridays while the four-day 'Thrill Extravaganza Plus' leaves Piraeus on Mondays. Both cruises call Mykonos, Santorini and Çeşme (Türkiye).

Passengers may embark/disembark at Piraeus, Mykonos or Çeşme. The cruises may be combined for a seven-day trip.

World-famous DJs

Featuring an onboard lineup of world-famous DJs performing from sunset to sunrise on the specially designed upper deck, Neonyx Cruises' hope is that Goddess of the Night establishes itself as a premier floating electronic/dance music festival.

Each cruise will carry seven to 10 international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Afrojack, NIcky Romero, Morten, Nora En Pure, Nervo, Danny Avila, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, Maddix, DVBBS, Cedric Gervais — the list goes on.

The 105,000gt Costa Magica, built in 2004, was among a number of ships exiting the Carnival Corp. & plc fleet during the pandemic and the eighth acquired by Greek high-speed ferry operator Iliopoulos. Handed over in Feburary 2023, initially it was renamed Mykonos Magic but hasn't operated in revenue service.

Edgy live performances

Besides DJs, entertainment includes 'edgy live performances' such as cabaret shows with singers, dancers and acrobats.

Goddess of the Night will offer four restaurants, with the main buffet restaurant offering extended opening hours for passengers who wish to dine up until 4:30 in the morning.

Beverage packages

There are 11 bars, and two beverage packages are available: the 'Classic' with house wines by the glass, beer, aperitifs, mineral water, coffee/tea for €75 per day, and 'Premium' with premium wines by the glass, all cocktails, premium spirits and liqueurs and specialty coffees for €95 per day.

A casino, wellness center with gym, spa, group exercise classes and shops round out the amenities and activities. Shore excursions will be available.
