On the 'Colonial Heritage' itinerary, Island Princess will sail round-trip New York with the line's first calls at historic Yorktown, the gateway to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the Americas, plus Charleston, South Carolina; Boston and Halifax.

The three of these 10- and 11-day voyages in June next year are a lead-up to sestercentennial celebrations marking the 250th birthday of the United States.

Expanded Canada/New England

In addition, an expanded Canada/New England program has several firsts for Princess including a 17-day cruise to Atlantic Canada and three ports in Greenland. That voyage, on Emerald Princess, departs Aug. 11, 2024.

The 2024 season includes 27 departures from Boston, New York, Québec and Fort Lauderdale on Emerald Princess, Enchanted Princess and Island Princess.

New seven-day Canada/New England cruises round-trip Boston on Emerald Princess visit Halifax, Sydney (Cape Breton), Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island) and Portland (Maine).

Round-trip from New York on Enchanted Princess, weeklong cruises visit Newport (Rhode Island), Boston, Bar Harbor (Maine), Halifax and, on select departures, Saint John (New Brunswick).

A new 'Classic Canada & New England' itinerary on Emerald Princess, 10 days between Boston and Québec City (overnight), goes to Portland or Rockland (Maine), Saint John, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown and Saguenay (Québec).

A new 14-day 'Canada & Colonial America' program repositions Emerald Princess from Fort Lauderdale to Québec City (overnight) in June with stops at Charleston, Yorktown, New York City, Newport, Boston, Sydney and Saguenay, and then from Québec (overnight) back to Flort Lauderdale in October with calls at Halifax, Portland, Boston, New York Yorktown and Charleston.

Cruise-tours

Two cruise-tours pair a sailing with aEnc land program. 'Historic America' provides seven nights on land with visits to Washington, DC; Thomas Jefferson's Monticello estate, Colonial Williamsburg, Independence Hall in Philadelphia and the Gettysburg Battlefield.

'Maple Explorer' visits Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montréal and the 19th-century Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
