Norwegian plans to retrofit scrubbers on six additional ships

Norwegian Cruise Line said it plans to install exhaust gas scrubbers on six additional ships.

This order is in addition to the scrubbers that are almost operational on Pride of America and contracted for installation on newbuilds Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Bliss.

Installation of the scrubbers on the six ships will take place beginning this spring and continuing through 2016.
