Oceania Cruises' fully rejuvenated Riviera will sail in Asia for the first time in 2023/24 to meet what the line called 'unprecedented' demand.

The new sailings have nearly doubled Oceania Cruises' seasonal capacity in the Asia-Pacific region with 121 itineraries available across Riviera, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica.

Oceania Cruises said Riviera's addition comes after a year of luxury cruise sales exceeding expectations, breaking numerous records.

The 1,238-passenger ship is scheduled to sail in Arabia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines on 25 voyages of 10 to 82 days.

Plus, more South Pacific choices

Additionally, Regatta and Nautica will greatly expand the line's South Pacific offerings, with more opportunities to explore destinations like New Zealand, Australia and French Polynesia than ever before.

Their more than 20 voyages range from 10 to 41 days, including a return to Australia and New Zealand for Regatta, and Nautica sailing through Arabia, India and Southeast Asia.

President Frank A. Del Rio said demand for Oceania Cruises' 'Exotics' collection is 'very strong,' with well-traveled clientele longing to visit remote destinations, and Riviera, with its new stem-to-stern interiors ,will provide a 'stylish, luxurious and relaxing' way to go.

Riviera restyled

Riviera's rejuvenation spanned accommodations and public spaces.

Concierge-level veranda staterooms and veranda staterooms are exceptionally spacious for standard accommodations at 291 square feet. All stateroom bathrooms were restyled.

Public spaces have all been elevated with plush new carpets and leather-covered armchairs.

The lounges, bars and dining venues were elegantly restyled.

New trattoria for alfresco dining

A new new trattoria for alfresco dining offers wood-fired pizzas, grilled Italian specialties, salads and desserts every evening.
