A total of 14 overnights in 12 of the 92 ports are planned.

'Not only do we offer the most destinations, but we also have the added luxury of time, providing our guests with longer port days and more overnight stays to fully appreciate the breadth and diversity of art, architecture and cuisine found around the world,' Oceania president Kunal Kamlani said.

Embarking from Miami Insignia will sail through the Caribbean before continuing on a southern course to South America. The ship will visit ports in Trinidad and Tobago, French Guiana and Brazil. Insiginia then heads to Africa for destinations in Angola, Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique.

The ship then heads to the South Pacific for a number of stops, including Oceania Cruises’ first call on the Australian port of Cooktown, a gateway for the Great Barrier Reef and the Aboriginal community of Hopevale.

After sailing through Hawaii, Insignia stops at Los Angeles before heading down the west coast, through the Panama Canal and completing the journey in Miami on July 1.

In addition to the double overnights in Yangon and Shanghai, there will be overnight stays at Cape Town, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City (for Saigon), Ha Long Bay (Hanoi), Hong Kong, Xiamen, Tianjin (for Beijing), Benoa (Bali) and Sydney.

Bookings open at 8:30 a.m. EST this July 30, and passengers reserving their suite or stateroom by Oct. 31, 2014, will receive two-for-one cruise fares, free first class round-trip airfare from major US and Canadian gateways and early booking savings of up to 71%.
