AWA will implement an integrated public relations campaign for the company’s three distinct brands -- Norwegian Cruise Lines, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises -- in Australia and New Zealand.

Its brief is to cover trade and consumer press, run a familiarisation programme and a series of signature events and partnerships.

Established in 1998, Sydney-based AWA is the Australian and New Zealand member of the Travel Lifestyle Network -- a global alliance of owner-managed marketing and communications agencies serving clients from tourism and lifestyle industries whose chairman is based in Germany.

‘We are delighted to be working with AWA to drive sales and heighten awareness of our market-leading brands across the region,’ Odell said.

‘We were incredibly impressed with AWA’s competitive pitch and we can’t wait to work together to build our presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.’

Managing director of AWA Anne Wild said:  'We are thrilled to represent NCLH and to introduce greater numbers of local travellers to one of the world’s leading cruise line operators.’
