Pacific Encounter calls at Darwin en route to Singapore dry dock

P&O Cruises Australia’s Brisbane-based Pacific Encounter on Monday became the first in the brand’s fleet to call at Darwin since the resumption of cruising.

The 2,600-passenger ship is on a 14-night ‘Indonesian Explorer’ cruise en route to Singapore where she will undergo a three-week dry dock.

Designed for thrill-seekers

This will include the installation of the 142mtr long and 16mtr high Twin Racer Waterslide and the P&O Edge Adventure Park.

The Park will feature a 55mtr long zipline, a rock climbing wall, cargo net, walk-the-plank and beam walk, each sitting 10mtrs above Deck 16.
