Ponant’s Le Lyrial delivered by Fincantieri

Le Lyrial, Ponant’s newest vessel was handed over Saturday by builder Fincantieri at its Ancona shipyard.

The new ship, which will fly the French flag, is the company’s fourth sister ship following L'Austral, Le Boreal and Le Soleal, delivered respectively in May 2010, April 2011 and June 2013.

Different on Le Lyrial is a deck featuring larger suites than on previous sister ships.

At 11,000gt, Le Lyrial is approximately 142mtr long with 122 cabins all with a sea view and 94% with a private balcony.

The ship features cutting edge technologies to reduce environmental impact and for energy saving. It carries ‘Comfort Class’ accreditation from Bureau Veritas.
