The magazine joins PPI Group’s roster of travel publication titles, which includes Compass, HAL's in-stateroom publication produced in three versions—Caribbean, Alaska and global—and distributed fleetwide.

'PPI’s extensive brand familiarity and publishing experience will make this a successful venture,' HAL president Orlando Ashford said.

'After years of working with Holland America Line, PPI Group knows the brand’s style, itineraries and on-board offerings, and how to both inform and entertain its guests,' said Bill Panoff, publisher and president/ceo of PPI Group. 'It is a natural fit that our team of publishing professionals take on Mariner and continue to evolve it for its savvy readers.'

The magazine will feature editorial content and photography geared to the interests of the line’s experienced travelers, from destination features to art, cuisine, history, culture and well-being. Other content will include company news and information, opportunities for guest interaction and advertising geared to HAL's upscale demographic.

Mariner will continue to be published three times per year with PPI Group producing the Spring 2015 issue in May. It will be mailed to top-tier Mariner Society members residing in the US and Canada. The subsequent fall and winter issues will add Australia, the Netherlands and UK distribution.
