Less than a month after cancelling an early 2021 world cruise by Island Princess from North America and a circle South America sailing by Pacific Princess from Australia, Princess Cruises has announced a new 2021/2022 programme.

As reported here last month, the company cited border and port access restrictions and the  uncertainty of airline travel for the cancellations.

Coral Princess to circumnavigate the globe

The plan is now for Coral Princess to make her maiden world voyage from Sydney (May 18, 2022), Brisbane (May 20) and Auckland (May 14).

The 107-night circumnavigation of the globe will cover the Mediterranean, Norway, Iceland, the Arctic Circle and the Panama Canal.

She will sail more than 34,000 nautical miles to 43 destinations in 27 countries across six continents. There will be 12 late-night stays and four overnights in Dubai, Venice, New York and Lima.

Five ships in Australia

Like Coral Princess, Royal Princess will also be making a maiden season Down Under. They will be joined by Emerald Princess, Pacific Princess and Sapphire Princess in the 2021/2022 programme, which is offering round-trip departures from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

A circumnavigation of Australia and round-trips to New Zealand are included in the new programme.
