Princess outlines longest world cruise from Australia in 2018

Allison said the 106-night voyage by Sea Princess will depart Sydney on June 5, 2018, and will visit 40 destinations in 27 countries, including new ports in Greenland and Canada.

He said Princess, which will mark its 10th year of world cruising from Australia next year, will welcome its 30,000th local world cruise passenger aboard Sea Princess in 2018.

Princess carries two out of three Australian cruise passengers to New Zealand and Allison said its new campaign, 'Across the Ditch,' heightens the experience with more New Zealand wines on board and local dishes, including the disputed Pavlova dessert named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova who visited Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s. (According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the recipe was first recorded in New Zealand—not Australia—in 1927).

A range of new shore excursions, emphasizing Maori traditions and culture, has been produced.

Allison also shared details of the Princess Luxury Bed, designed by sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and Summit delegates were given a sleep wheel with 10 sleep tips.
