The ship was on the second day of a seven-day Caribbean cruise and en route to Cozumel.

A Princess Cruises spokeswoman told Seatrade Insider Regal Princess would resume its itinerary, calling at Cozumel and Grand Cayman, but did not provide further details.

According to RSVP Vacations, a specialist in gay and lesbian travel, the ship is on a sold-out charter for the company's 30th anniversary.

Regal Princess called Monday at Princess Cays and was scheduled for Cozumel on Wednesday, a sea day Thursday and Grand Cayman on Friday. The cruise is to return to Port Everglades Sunday.
