Kennedy’s documentary chronicles the chaotic final days of the Vietnam War as the North Vietnamese army closes in on Saigon and the South Vietnamese resistance crumbles. As the US readies to withdraw, a number of Americans take matters into their own hands, engaging in unsanctioned and often makeshift operations in a desperate effort to save as many South Vietnamese lives as possible.

Continuing a longtime relationship with PBS, Artful Travelers is partnering with Regent Seven Seas Cruises on this exclusive enrichment series showcasing PBS programming and personalities. The cruise, from China to ports in South Korea, Taiwan and Japan, will offer opportunities to interact with several admired media figures.

In addition to Kennedy, those scheduled to appear are Steven Johnson, noted author, technology expert and host of PBS’ 'How We Got to Now with Steven Johnson'; Mark Bailey, Emmy Award-nominated screenwriter and best-selling author ('Of All The Gin Joints: Stumbling Through Hollywood History and Last Days In Vietnam'); and Lauren Prestileo, series manager of the PBS series 'American Experience.'

The special PBS activities are available at no additional cost. At the time of booking, the promotional code 'ARTFUL' should be added to the reservation.
