'We are incredibly excited to be celebrating our pearl anniversary, three decades of setting the standard in luxury travel, and I cannot wait to see what the next 30 years will bring,' said Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. 'This wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support from our incredible team both shipboard and shoreside, loyal guests and valued travel partners.'

Began as Diamond Cruise

Three decades ago, Diamond Cruise, subsequently renamed Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, introduced the twin-hulled, 350-passenger Radisson Diamond. In 1999, the line added Seven Seas Navigator and in 2001, the all-balcony-suite Seven Seas Mariner, followed by Seven Seas Voyager in 2003. The rebranding as Regent Seven Seas Cruises came in 2006.

The 732-passenger Seven Seas Explorer, touted by Regent as the world’s most luxurious ship, joined in 2016 with sister Seven Seas Splendor following in 2020. Seven Seas Grandeur is due to round out the series in late 2023.

Inclusivity

Regent is distinguisehd by its all-inclusive offering with premium beverages, specialty dining, round-trip business class air on intercontinental flights, unlimited Wi-Fi and  unlimited shore excursions bundled into the fare. Most recently the line added valet laundry to included amenities.

Franco Semeraro, SVP hotel operations, has been with the company since it was building its first ship.

'I couldn’t be prouder to have been part of such an incredibly talented team with so many successes over the past 30 years and I truly look forward to what’s to come as we continue to elevate the luxury experience,' he said.

Enriching and luxurious journeys

Olga Placeres, travel advisor and owner of Preferred Travel, called Regent 'absolute in its inclusiveness, providing guests with the most enriching and luxurious journeys on the seven seas, which is why I’ve been a loyal travel partner since day one. I’ve booked hundreds of cruises with Regent, and every time I’m just as excited as the last, especially when booking new customers, because I know that they will definitely be coming back for more.'

Brand loyalist Peggy Nathan was on Regent's first world cruise and has spent more than 2,000 nights aboard the line over the years.

'While I love all the restaurants available, I always go back to Compass Rose,' she said. 'My favorite dish is the miso sea bass served on Seven Seas Society Night, the night I look forward to every time I cruise.'

30th anniversary voyages

Anniversary voyages of seven to 21 days on each Regent ship will feature commemorative pins and gifts, an anniversary party, specialty cocktails and one-of-a-kind dining options, special entertainment and more. Plus, the line is offering double Seven Seas Society savings on these voyages.

Sailings include the 'Exotic & Iconic' from Dubai to Singapore aboard Seven Seas Explorer, 'Glories of Spain' on Seven Seas Splendor and 'Wines, Dunes & Wildlife of Southern Africa' on Seven Seas Voyager. Further choices are 'Machu Picchu & Chilean Fjords' on Seven Seas Mariner and 'First Glimmer of Fall' in Canada/New England on Seven Seas Navigator.

Consistent service

'No matter where I decide to cruise — Alaska, South Africa or Asia — the dedicated service is always consistent, and one of the main reasons I’ve been a loyal customer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises for decades,' Malcolm Myers said.

'The longest I’ve been onboard at a time has been 10  months and, even then, I didn’t want to get off the ship.'
