These new itineraries complement the current five-night Okinawa cruise, giving vacationers more options.

This month the ship begins offering a Nha Trang-Da Nang cruise, the Boracay-Manila itinerary begins Jan. 21 until March.

'The inclusion of these new destinations will help cast a wider net to rejuvenate the cruise tourism industry across the region,' said Michael Goh, president of Resorts World Cruises.

Vietnam

Nha Trang is known as a playground for sunseekers with beaches such as Long Beach, home to surfing spots and seafood joints. Travelers can also relax with a mud bath or at the hot springs, go island hopping, visit the towering 78-foot-tall Buddha statue and the centuries-old Po Nagar Cham Towers.

Da Nang is a popular tourist spot, also with beaches, and visitors can learn about the local Cham culture, dine on street food and explore the Marble Mountains with hidden caves and shrines.

Philippines

Boracay is one of the country’s top-rated islands with powdery white sand beaches and fun-filled water activities, while Manila offers heritage sites from the old Hispanic Fort Santiago to the Baluarte de San Diego tower to various iconic landmarks, churches and cathedrals. Sampling the street food is also a must.
