Due to the berth being in the heart of the city it has taken time for safety and enviromental studies to be completed but the Municipality has given the green light for the operations.

One tanker truck is allowed quayside at a time. One vehicle provides LNG for 12 hours ais then replaced by another truck.

Rotterdam joins Hamburg, Southampton, Le Havre and Zeebrugge in supplying LNG to AIDAprima during its 'metropolis’ itineraries which started in April.
