Royal Caribbean plans five-ship Europe deployment in 2026

Cruises will sail from five homeports.

Royal Caribbean International will deploy five ships in Europe in 2026, down from six in 2025 and seven this year.

Once again, cruises will operate from Piraeus, Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome), Ravenna and Southampton.

Harmony of the Seas returns to Barcelona, and Odyssey, Brilliance, Explorer and Liberty of the Seas are in the lineup for two- to 14-night itineraries stretching from Greece to northern Europe. Liberty of the Seas will operate a solar eclipse cruise in August 2026.

Harmony from Barcelona

Oasis-class Harmony of the Seas will sail seven-night roundtrips from Port of Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca, La Spezia, Naples and Marseille.

Odyssey from Civitavecchia

From the port for Rome, Quantum-class Odyssey of the Seas will sail seven- to nine-night cruises to such destinations as Kusadasi, Naples, Mykonos and Santorini.

Liberty from Southampton

Freedom-class Liberty of the Seas will offer two- to nine-night cruises from Southampton to destinations in the Norwegian Fjords plus Bruges and Copenhagen.

The ship's solar eclipse cruise will embark Aug. 7, 2026.

Explorer from Ravenna

Sailing from Ravenna, Voyager-class Explorer of the Seas will operate seven- and 14-night cruises to the Aegean and Adriatic seas, with calls at ports such as Dubrovnik and Zadar in Croatia, and Piraeus.

Brilliance from four homeports

Radiance-class Brilliance of the Seas will embark on seven-night cruises from Piraeus, Civitavecchia, Ravenna and Barcelona with itineraries featuring the Greek Isles and Turkey.
