Saga’s ocean and river cruising businesses have had ‘an exceptional start to the year’ noted Mike Hazell, group CEO, with booked load factors ahead of the same point last year, at 83% and 78% respectively, alongside growing per diems.

Booked revenue is 14% up, on a higher number of passengers.

Saga, which reported a return to profit  for its cruise and travel busesses last year,  said today it is continuing to explore partnership opportunities within its ocean cruise and insurance arms that would 'support growth ambitions, crystallise value and enhance long-term returns for shareholders.'

The Group’s interim results for the six months ending July 31, 2024 will be announced on October 2, 2024.
