Saga Cruises' Spirit of Adventure has arrived in Tilbury, London from Meyer Werft shipyard where it will remain in layup until early next year.

It follows the journey of sister ship Spirit of Discovery from Meyer Werft's Papenburg yard last month. 

New addition

The latest vessel in Saga’s fleet measures 58,250 gt, has 554 all balcony cabins and can accommodate 999 passengers. 

The ship makes its inaugural cruise on February 5 2021 to the Canary Islands.

Health and hygiene 

Nigel Blanks, md, Saga Cruises says measures that will be in place when the vessel begins operating include 'reduced capacity, pre-departure testing both at home and before boarding, increased medical staff and facilities and enhancements to our state-of-the-art air conditioning, which already provides 100% fresh air throughout our ships.’
