The ship had been scheduled to begin sailing in late August from Hong Kong to ports in Australia, then on varied cruises round-trip Sydney. Those sailings, from Aug. 28 through Oct. 29, were canceled.

June 25 start from Los Angeles

Instead, cruises from Los Angeles will begin June 25, with Sapphire Princess offering 16 voyages of four to 16 days. Included is a five-day getaway for the July 4 holiday.

Mexico

Among the itineraries is Mexican Riviera with La Paz, a weeklong trip that calls at Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Ensenada with departures on June 25 and Sept. 3.

Mexican Riviera with Puerto is a seven-day cruise to Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada with departures on July 30 and Sept. 17.

Ten-day Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez cruises feature an overnight at Cabo San Lucas with calls at La Paz, Loreto and Puerto Vallarta. Departures are Sept. 24 and Oct. 23.

Hawaii

Sapphire Princess will offer four Hawaiian Islands cruises calling at Hilo, Honolulu, Nawiliwili (Kauai), Kahului (Maui) and Ensenada. Sixteen-day options sail July 7 and Aug. 11, while 15-day versions depart Oct. 4 and Nov. 2.

California coast

Classic California coast cruises, seven days, include an overnight at San Francisco and calls at San Diego and Ensenada. Dates are July 23, Aug. 27 and Sept 10.

Five-day West Coast getaways with San Francisco and Ensenada depart July 2 (with a late-night stay in San Francisco on July 4) and Aug. 6. A four-day West Coast getaway with San Diego and Ensenada sails Oct. 19.
