These MSC Cruises vessels are scheduled to enter service in 2019 and 2020. The contracts include the supply of systems for advanced wastewater purification, garbage handling with incineration, food waste processing and bio residue treatment with dewatering and drying.

'We are extremely proud to continue our cooperation with the shipyard STX France, where we have supplied equipment to 17 cruise newbuilds in the past, among these 10 newbuilds for MSC Cruises,' Scanship ceo Henrik Badin said.

Scanship has chalked up a record order intake of more than 160m Norwegian kroner ($18.6m) so far in 2017. This compares to the company's total order intake of approximately NOK90m ($10.5m) for full year 2016.
