There was a rendezvous this week in Monte Carlo on the French Riviera with Scenic Group’s new discovery yacht Scenic Eclipse II and Emerald Azzurra.

Scenic Eclipse II has just completed her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean and Emerald Azzurra, launched in March last year, has been sailing around the Mediterranean and the Adriatic.

Significant milestone

A Scenic spokesperson said the meeting of the two ships ‘marks a significant milestone in the expansion of the company’s worldwide ocean cruise programme.’

European summer season

As reported here, Emerald Sakara will make her maiden voyage on August 5 and will operate a European summer season around Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Adriatic before making an inaugural Caribbean cruise on November 17.
