The vessel will sail the UK from June 27
Saga Cruises’ Spirit of Discovery will begin sea trials to practice and refine key service elements once all 540 crew members join the vessel at Tilbury port in the coming days.

At full capacity, the vessel can accommodate 999 passengers across 554 cabins with each passenger allocated a double-decker bus worth of space. Numbers on board will be further capped for initial cruises owing to COVID-19 protocols.

Nigel Blanks, CEO, Saga Cruises said, ‘We are so looking forward to welcoming guests on Spirit of Discovery on June 27 as we set off around the British Isles.’
