Following its summer in the Greek Isles, Seabourn Ovation will now sail a selection of departures originally planned for Seabourn Sojourn from Oct. 9 to Dec. 21, then brand-new itineraries through May 2022
Due to continued travel restrictions, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation will not sail in Asia, Arabia or Australia from late 2021 to early 2022.

As such, Seabourn is canceling select departures on the two ships between Sept. 1, 2021, and April 26, 2022, to align with the company's overall restart plan.

New Seabourn Ovation routes

Following its summer season in the Greek Isles, Seabourn Ovation will now sail a selection of departures originally planned for Seabourn Sojourn from Oct. 9 to Dec. 21. The ship will then begin 2022 by operating 12 brand-new sailings in the Caribbean/Panama Canal and Europe from January through May 2022 before resuming its originally planned deployment in the Western Mediterranean.

These new Seabourn Ovation sailings will be open for booking on July 8, and this will be the first time Seabourn Ovation will call on the United States.

Earlier announced restarts

As earlier announced, Seabourn Ovation is to start sailing Greek Isles cruises from Piraeus July 3, Seabourn Odyssey Southern Caribbean cruises from Barbados July 18 and Seabourn Quest is to depart Nov. 7 from Miami en route to its Antarctica program.

Seabourn Sojourn is scheduled to embark Jan. 11, 2022, in Los Angeles for its world cruise, while Seabourn Encore is to begin sailing April 17, 2022, from Piraeus.

Vaccination policy

The upcoming summer 2021 voyages on Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Odyssey are open to travelers fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Seabourn intends for all crew on these voyages to be vaccinated as well and is working to meet that goal. Specific vaccination requirements for other itineraries in 2021 and beyond will be finalized closer to the sailing date in coordination with the respective destinations.

Operation of the upcoming Antarctica season, the 2022 world cruise and other deployments are subject to change due to travel restrictions.

Travel advisors and their clients with impacted bookings will receive information on rebooking, alternative sailing date options, opportunities for bonus future cruise credits or full refunds. Specific offers and details vary by itinerary.
