Seabourn Pursuit to debut with cruises before starting expedition operations

The newly added voyages give the opportunity to sample Seabourn Pursuit before it begins expedition operations
Seabourn's second purpose-built expedition vessel, Seabourn Pursuit, will enter service in August with a series of seven new Mediterranean, trans-Atlantic and Caribbean sailings.

Now on sale, these new voyages will provide an opportunity to experience the ship before it embarks on expedition-focused voyages later in the year.

Starting Aug. 12, Seabourn Pursuit will sail on five new voyages through the Mediterranean and the French and Italian rivieras.

First up is the eight-day 'Tyrrhenian Isles & France,' departing Valletta, Malta for Civitavecchia (Rome) with calls at Taormina, Lipari and Amalfi, Italy; St. Tropez on the French Riviera; the island of Ajaccio; and Golfo Aranci on Sardinia.

Four seven-day cruises follow, starting with 'Charm of Italy, France & Spain' (Aug. 20) from Rome to Barcelona with calls at Cinque Terre, Cannes and Palamós, and 'Spanish & French Allure' (Aug. 27) from Barcelona to Monte Carlo via Palma de Mallorca, Sète and St. Tropez.

'Allure of Italy & France' (Sept. 3) sails from Monte Carlo to Barcelona with stops at  Cinque Terre, Golfo Aranci (Sardinia), Bonifacio (Corsica), Marseille and Palamós. 'Gems of Iberia' (Sept. 10) travels from Barcelona to Lisbon, calling at Valencia, Cartagena, Málaga, Gibraltar and Casablanca (Morocco).

Combination cruise savings

Four Mediterranean combination cruise offerings of 14 or 15 days have savings up to 10%.

Trans-Atlantic and Caribbean

Seabourn Pursuit will cross the Atlantic from Lisbon to Miami via Madeira on a 12-day voyage embarking Sept. 17. This features nine sea days.

The 10-day 'Atlantic Sunrises' follows (Sept. 30) from Miami to Barbados with calls at San Juan, Jost van Dyke, Anguilla, Antigua, Martinique and Bequia with Seabourn's 'Caviar in the Surf' event at Carambola Beach.

On Oct. 10, Seabourn Pursuit will arrive at Barbados to begin is previously scheduled expedition itineraries to South America, the Amazon and Antarctica.
