For ocean voyages, the promotion offers $1,500 per suite in on-board spending credit or a two-category upgrade or 50% off the price of a second suite. For expeditions, travelers can get a two-category suite upgrade or 50% off the second suite fare.

'For today's traveler, it's all about choice,' said Mark Conroy, Silversea's managing director for the Americas.

'You might treat yourself to a larger suite, or indulge in personal pampering at the on-board spa. Plus, the option of a second suite at 50% off provides incomparable savings and the opportunity to invite family and friends to vacation with you, almost anywhere in the world, sharing in the extraordinary benefit of a separate suite at half price,' he added.

'Silver Select' is available for new bookings made through July 31 for select voyages to the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asia Pacific, South America, Antarctica, Galápagos, Africa and the Indian Ocean.

Some of the eligible itineraries include Silver Discoverer's 17-day Indian Ocean expedition, from Malé to Dar es Salaam and featuring the rarely visited Aldabra archipelago. The cruise sails Dec. 17.

Antarctica is another option, specifically the 18-day expedition on Silver Explorer from Valparaíso to Ushuaia sailing on Nov. 14.

In Asia Pacific, Silver Discoverer's expedition to the Andaman Islands, round-trip Phuket, lasts 11 days and sails Nov. 21.

Caribbean options include Silver Wind's 10-day round-trip from Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 2 and Silver Spirit's Barbados round-trip, seven days, on Dec. 8.

In addition to Silver Select, many Mediterranean itineraries also feature the 'Most Exclusive All-inclusive' package and amenities, which include round-trip economy air travel and transfers, two-night pre-cruise hotel stay and transfers, Silver Shore Select excursions and free Wi-Fi (for all 2016 sailings to all regions of the globe).

Plus, business class air upgrades are offered for $199 each way on trans-oceanic flights.

Numerous sailings are eligible, such as Silver Spirit's July 29 Istanbul-Athens cruise, seven days, and the ship's 10-day Venice round-trip on Aug. 12.
