Also, for a limited time, Silversea is offering a reduced 15% deposit, down from the normal 25%. This is nonrefundable for the new fares but refundable for the Door-to-Door fares.

New Port-to-Port fares

The new fares are for travelers who prefer to book their own air, hotel and transfers. These rates are avaialble for select itineraries and departures and offer an average savings of about 25% compared to Door-to-Door fares.

The Port-to-Port fares, which are subject to availability and offered for a limited number of Vista and Veranda suites on select voyages, will be revised from time to time starting Feb. 28. These fares require a nonrefundable 15% deposit.

The refundable reduced 15% deposit is offered with Door-to-Door fares and applies to all worldwide voyages sailing through March 31, 2023, if booked between Dec. 6, 2021, and Feb. 28, 2022. Door-to-Door fares bundle in round-trip economy air, reduced business class air or air credit; all airport/hotel/ship transfers, including new private executive transfers from home; pre- and post-cruise hotel night/s or hotel day rooms; and luggage handling.

Shore excursions included with both fares

Both fares bundle in shore excursions and many on-board amenities and services. (Excursions are included with all expedition voyages and will be included with select ocean voyages departing from March 31, 2022, as well as all voyages from June 2022 onward. Ocean voyages include one excursion per port, per day.)

Silversea Chief Commercial Officer Barbara Muckermann said the reduced deposit and new Port-to-Port fare were rolled out in anticipation of wave season and to give travel advisors greater flexibility to create the perfect travel experience for their clients.

COVID-19 cancellation policy

Silversea’s refund and cancellation policy for COVID-19 applies to both rates and benefits new bookings made on sailings through April 30, 2022. Under this policy, travelers booking either fare option may cancel and receive a 100% future cruise credit or a full refund for the total cruise fare paid to Silversea if they can't get to the ship due to a governmental travel restriction, or should the traveler or a member of their party test positive for COVID-19 within 30 days of embarkation.

When travelers who have paid in full opt for the FCC, their travel advisor will have the opportunity to earn commission.
