Travelers who sail with Blount president Nancy Blount on August's President's Cruise can save 15% when booking by Feb. 27. Other cruises in the Presidents Day promotion are 'Big Apple to the US Capital' and 'DC to Boston,' with savings of 40% on May and June sailings.

The President's Cruise is Bount's 'Two Nation Vacation: Maine & New Brunswick' itinerary. Grande Caribe sails Aug. 2 from Saint John, New Brunswick, to towns in Maine and Canada. Stops are Digby, Nova Scotia, and Grand Manan and St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, and Maine's Eastport, Bar Harbor, Rockland, Bath and Portland. A festive welcome dinner and celebration with local entertainment marks the start of the 10-day voyage.

The 'Big Apple to the US Capital' carries passengers from New York City to the DC area, with stops at historic and scenic cities. The eight-night cruise departs May 22, June 1 and 2, with alternating departures and arrivals between New York City and Alexandria, Va.

'DC to Boston' embarks at Alexandria on June 11 and visits Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, New London (Connecticut), Newport (Rhode Island) and Boston. On the 11-night voyage, Grande Mariner sails 15 waterways, including the Cape Cod Canal.

Poseidon Expeditions' St. Valentine's promotion includes 15% savings on four Arctic voyages and eight Antarctic voyages aboard the 114-passenger Sea Spirit.

Savings of $1,300 to $3,899 per person are available, depending on the departure date and stateroom category booked. To qualify, deposited reservations must be made by the end of February in a superior, deluxe, premium or owner’s suite.

Examples of eligible Antarctica voyages are a classic 12-day Antarctic Peninsula voyage (Dec. 18 and Dec. 28, 2015, and Jan. 7 and Jan. 17, 2016), a 13-day 'Crossing the Polar Circle' cruise (Feb. 6, 2016) and three longer voyages of 20 to 23 days that add the Falklands/Malvinas and South Georgia.

Among the four Arctic cruises eligible for the savings is 'Across the Shetland & Orkney Islands to Iceland,' May 20 to June 2, 2015, and 'East Greenland,' Sept. 11-23, 2015.

All-suite vessel Sea Spirit formerly sailed as Spirit of Oceanus and, earlier, as Renaissance V. It begins operations for Poseidon in May.
