Star Clippers announces winter 2017/18 itineraries

Fay McCormack, general manager for Star Clippers UK, said 'Winter 2017 sees the start of another exotic and eclectic winter sailing schedule, with the three ships in the fleet sailing some of the most pristine, least discovered and most beautiful settings in the world. Star Flyer returns to Cuba with the opportunity to stay on board for one night in port in Havana and one night on the ship in Cienfuegos, Star Clipper sails Asian waters in Thailand and Malaysia, while Royal Clipper makes the most of Caribbean islands with round trip sailings from Barbados.'

Royal Clipper, will sail 7 and 14 night round trip itineraries from Barbados around the Windward and Grenadine islands. Port calls include the islands of St. Lucia, Antigua, Bequia, Dominica, Martinique and St. Kitts, where both Royal Clipper and Star Flyer will come alongside at the same time. On  March 25, 2018, Royal Clipper starts a 14 night sailing around the coastline of South America, visiting Venezuela and the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire, returning via the Grenadines to Barbados.
 
Star Flyer's 9 and 10 night itineraries throughout December 2017 and January 2018 include a 9 night Christmas sailing, departing on December 18, 2017, from £1,705pp, including port charges, all meals on board and a 7 night cruise from Cienfuegos to Havana, with Christmas Day spent at sea, before arriving into Havana for Boxing Day. Throughout February and March 2018, Star Flyer sails round trip voyages from St. Maarten through the Leeward and Treasure Islands, including the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Barts, Nevis and St. Kitts.

 When the 170-guest Star Clipper completes her inaugural season sailing Indonesian waters in summer 2017, she will relocate to her winter home port of Phuket, to operate two seven-night round trip itineraries in Thailand and Malaysia, north and southbound from Phuket, exploring the many islands off the coast accessible only by smaller ship. Star Clipper will also operate itineraries between Singapore and Phuket, and including Phang Nga Bay with its forested limestone towers.
