With Crown Princess, Island Princess and Royal Princess now or soon welcoming passengers, this marks a total of 12 Princess Cruises ships, or 80% of the fleet, back in service.

Royal Princess on Monday embarked from Vancouver, BC, for its 'Voyage of the Glaciers' Alaska season. Island Princess sailed April 27 from Port Everglades on a Panama Canal cruise.

And Crown Princess is set to depart Seattle May 7 for a summer of Alaska Inside Passage cruises.

Full fleet operational by September

The full 15-strong fleet should be carrying passengers on global itineraries by September.

The first Princess ships resumed sailing last July.
