Seabourn Legend was repositioning from the Mediterranean to the Baltic, after two previous French stops in Saint-Malo and Cherbourg.

This first visit to Le Havre was the occasion for a plaque exchange between local authorities and Captain Andrew Pedder. Also in port Louis Cruises' Louis Aura  interporting some French passengers bound for Oostende.
